Beau and Bella update

I think the folks at ARF have decided to keep him. He got adopted twice and brought back twice because he got seriously depressed. Seems he’s formed a deep attachment to the people at ARF and they love him to pieces. I’ve walked him a few times and though he enjoys the outdoors, he’s always eager to get back to his own folks in the office. He’s a doll.

On the small dog front, my daughter in law adopted one of the Chihuahua mix puppies, very fun to visit and cuddle. Violet (my granddaughter) named her Bella. I made a little coat for her out of a sock but she’s going to have to be paper trained I think — it’s too cold for her outside. She only weighs about a pound and has the skinniest little legs! Adorable.

are we crazy, or what, really????

my daughter in law called to tell us there are Chihuahua mix puppies where she’s working now over at Lamonda Heating and Air just off Springs Fireplace Road, so naturally we went to fall irrevocably in love with the runt and are waiting with election-sized anxiety to hear if, when the owner gets back, she has or has not already promised that one to someone else. We’re afraid she’ll say no or yes either way.

We’re in our sixties, Frank is facing the hardest fight of his life, and I’m still sick every day all day with something no one can figure out.

But she’s so little, and so sweet, and she gave me kisses and didn’t even pee in my hands! And Miss Moon went wild at the smell of her when we got home!

Saints (if there are any) preserve us.
